𝘞𝘦𝘥𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘥𝘢𝘺, 12𝘵𝘩 𝘕𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳 2025
Ayietoro, Yewa North, The political atmosphere in Yewa North reached a new height on Wednesday, 12th November 2025, as the 𝗬𝗲𝘄𝗮 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 staged a colourful, joyful and highly energetic reception for the Ogun West Senatorial leading contender, 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗢𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗶𝘄𝗼𝗹𝗮 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝘄𝗼, popularly known as 𝗛.𝗢.𝗧, during his political consultation tour to the ancient town of Ayietoro.
The event, which drew massive attention from residents, youth stakeholders, community heads and political enthusiasts across the local government, became a clear demonstration of the growing support surrounding Hon. Taiwo’s 2027 senatorial ambition. From the early hours of the day, Ayietoro stood still as enthusiastic supporters, waving banners and singing songs, converged to honour the respected aspirant.
Leading the warm reception was a prominent and grassroots mobilizer, 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗢𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗮 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗲, popularly known as 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲. Backed by a vibrant and coordinated team of young supporters across Yewa North, Assurance led the procession with passion, excitement and rhythmic chants that immediately transformed the environment into a festival-like atmosphere.
The peak of the welcome was the emotional and melodious performance of the now widely embraced support anthem, “𝗢𝗵 𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗶, 𝗼𝗵 𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗼.” The song, delivered in harmony and energy, echoed repeatedly through the air as the Youth Forum formed a long escort train around Hon. Taiwo. Their voices, united by purpose and hope, became a symbol of the trust they placed in his leadership and his vision for Ogun West.
As the political consultation train moved into the centre of Ayietoro, the crowd grew larger. Market women, artisans, elders, students, and community vigilante members joined the gathering. Many described the moment as historic, noting that never in recent years had such a massive youth-driven turnout been recorded for a political aspirant in the area.

Speaking at the event, Assurance emphasised that the youth of Yewa North are ready to speak with one voice, and that voice strongly supports Hon. Taiwo’s aspiration. He highlighted the aspirant’s humility, accessibility and longstanding relationship with grassroots communities as key reasons the youths are united behind him.
In response, 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗢𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗶𝘄𝗼𝗹𝗮 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝘄𝗼 expressed deep gratitude for the overwhelming love and solidarity. He applauded the youths for their peaceful but powerful show of support and assured them that his ambition is rooted in service, development and inclusive representation for all of Ogun West. He promised continued engagement with youths, stakeholders and community groups for a stronger and more prosperous district.
The Ayietoro reception has since been widely described as a bold statement of endorsement from the younger generation of Yewa North. Many analysts believe that with such strong grassroots mobilisation, the momentum behind H.O.T.’s senatorial journey continues to grow stronger across the Ogun West axis.
