At the Political Relations and Community Development Onibuku/Idedo Get-Together, Hon. Olayiwola Waliu Taiwo delivered a powerful and inspiring address, calling on residents and stakeholders within the community to unite and give their total support to Olamilekan Solomon Adeola as the next Governor of Ogun State in 2027.
The well-attended gathering brought together community leaders, youth representatives, women groups, political stakeholders, and grassroots mobilizers from Onibuku and Idedo. The event was organized to strengthen political relationships and promote sustainable community development through active civic participation. It served as a platform for dialogue, engagement, and the reinforcement of shared political goals ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
In his address, Hon. Taiwo emphasized the importance of unity, loyalty, and collective responsibility in achieving meaningful political progress. He described Senator Adeola as a visionary leader with a proven record of performance, commitment to public service, and deep understanding of governance. According to him, Ogun State requires a leader with experience, courage, and the capacity to attract development projects that will positively impact both urban and rural communities.
Hon. Taiwo further urged community members not to remain passive observers in the political process but to actively participate by mobilizing support, enlightening others, and standing firmly behind a candidate they believe can deliver good governance. He stressed that community development goes beyond infrastructure; it includes empowerment, education, healthcare improvement, and economic opportunities for the youth.
